Bluebird Project
Mountain Bluebirds nest throughout
Teton Valley
due to the high elevation, meadows, and forested areas. Many trees with suitable nesting holes have been cut for firewood or taken over by non-native species like the European Starling, House Sparrows, and Finches. Consequently, the Bluebirds have difficulty finding nesting spots because of their highly aggressive competitors. We are currently tracking bluebird sightings. If you have spotted a bluebird, please e-mail us at info@mdlandscapinginc.com and let us know when and where!
